The point of an adjustable pillow
Find your loft before you buy it
Loft is the height your head rests at. Too high and your neck bends up all night; too low and it drops. Drag the handle to see what each setting looks like — and whether you'd be taking fill out or reaching for the spare bag.
Construction
Three parts, two zips
Most pillows are sealed shut. Lima comes apart in the order you'd expect — cover, inner pillow, fill — so the part that gets dirty washes and the part that sets your comfort adjusts.

Bamboo cover
Bamboo viscose, quilted through in a fine navy triangular stitch. Cool against the skin, breathable, and it zips off for the machine.

Inner pillow
A sealed white pillow with its own zip. This is the one you open when you want a different height.

CloudCut fill
Soft foam clusters blended with a feather-like fibre. Springy enough to hold a shape, soft enough to sink into — and no feathers, so nothing to poke through.
An extra bag of fill, in the box
Every Lima ships with a spare bag of CloudCut fill. Adjusting down is easy on any pillow — you just take things out. Adjusting up is where most adjustable pillows leave you stuck. This one doesn't.
A pillow should be sized to a person, not to a mattress. That's the whole idea.PatioHome — Beirut, est. 1998
Three shapes
Pick by how you sleep
Same bamboo cover, same fill, same adjustability. What changes is the outline.

Back Sleeper
Standard size, classic rectangle. Sits low and even so your head doesn't tip forward when you're flat on your back.
50 × 66 cm

All Positions
King length — half again as long as the standard. For people who roll from back to side and want pillow still under them when they land.
50 × 99 cm

Side Sleeper
King length with a curved cut-out along the front. The scoop clears your shoulder so the pillow can fill the gap under your neck instead of propping your head up.
50 × 99 cm

Questions
How do I know how much fill to remove?
Sleep on it as shipped for two nights. If your chin is tucking toward your chest, take out a handful and try again. If your head is dropping back, add some from the spare bag. Most people adjust once and never touch it again.
What's in the extra bag?
More of the same CloudCut fill that's already inside. It's there so you can build the pillow up as well as down — and so you're not stuck if you overshoot.
Back Sleeper vs All Positions?
Length only. All Positions is half again as long, so there's still pillow underneath you when you roll. Height, depth and fill are identical.
Do I need the Side Sleeper shape if I sleep on my side?
Not necessarily — a well-adjusted rectangle works for plenty of side sleepers. The cut-out helps most if you sleep with your lower arm forward and your shoulder gets crowded.
Why bamboo?
It sits cooler than cotton against the skin and moves moisture away faster, which matters most on the surface your face is against all night. It also drapes softer, so the quilting never feels stiff.
Does it arrive with a smell?
It ships vacuum-compressed, so there can be a faint foam smell when you first open it. Unzip the cover, give it a shake and leave it out for a few hours — it clears on its own.
Can I wash the whole pillow?
The bamboo cover, yes — unzip it and machine wash cold. The inner pillow and fill should be spot cleaned only; washing foam clusters mats them and they don't recover.
